IN A WORLD RAVANGED BY SAND— you, a lone wanderer must make it to the kingdom hidden in the dunes: Oaza. If you can make it there, you'll find all the resources you'll need to survive... and more.

Mel (or your own name) has been wandering the desert wasteland her entire life— the world having succumbed to a vicious war that turned the once prosperous world to dust. It was a war of man versus machine and while mankind were the victors, it costed them the world. When Mel stumbles across a tiny driod lost in a sea of sand, her fate becomes sealed when she decides to try to reboot the machine and in the process discovers century old secrets that could erupt the world into chaos. In efforts to save the tiny driod who looks far too innocent to be a man-killing machine, she brings it to Oaza in search for a blacksmith skilled enough to fix it. Along the way, she runs into a chivalrous guard and a cold-hearted mercenary who despite their flashy titles have a ton of secrets of their own. What will they do when they find out she harbors an illegal machine that fought in the war against mankind?

CHARACTERS

The Golden Guard of Oaza. A flirty and above-all-else soldier whose background is lathered in royalty— yet he carved his own path and lives to protect the city his ancestors helped build.

A distant and coldhearted mercenary with a secret dark enough to bring down all of Oaza with him if it were ever revealed.

A hard working blacksmith who crafts the finest weapons in all of Oaza... but has a slight attitude issue. He doesn't like being bothered, but if you can do so in the right ways, you might find he has a soft side.

A lone wanderer of the desert who stumbles across a lost driod in the barren sands. A driod that while looks innocent enough— has information that will put her in danger every step of her new journey.

IN A SEA OF SAND is a work-in-progress that is very early into development. Many things are subject to change, including character art and story. This is a project created by a single person— artwork, story, code, GUI, and all! Therefore, it will take quite a bit of time before it finishes. However, I'm really excited to release a DEMO as soon as I have enough content to do so!
